I picked up this aluminum platter tray from Dollar Tree.
I really loved the small decorative details around the platter.
I painted the platter with Harvest Orange acrylic paint by Apple Barrel. Sorry I didn’t show the completely painted tray, but I applied two coats to get nice, even coverage.
I found these cute pumpkins at Hobby Lobby.
Next, I carefully cut the pumpkins in half.
Then I grabbed some moss paint and Nutmeg Brown acrylic paint to give the pumpkins a little more character.
I lightly brushed Nutmeg Brown paint onto two of the pumpkins to tone down the bright orange and give it a softer, more rustic fall look.
Then, I hot glued the pumpkins onto the tray and added Spanish moss and leaves around them to fill in the arrangement.
To finish the project, I added a messy bow and attached twine with hot glue for hanging. Here is the finished fall pumpkin tray!
