I picked up four beaded picture frames from Dollar Tree.
Remove the backing and glass from all four frames. Wipe away any dust so the paint and decoupage will stick well.
I chose four small Christmas gift bags from Dollar Tree with different images.
These are the supplies I used for this project. Crimson red and green paint. Dark wax, glitter, and decoupage
Lay the frame backing on each small gift bag, trace around it, and cut the bag pieces to fit inside the frames.
Brush a thick, even coat of decoupage over one piece of frame backing/cardboard.
Place the cut gift bag piece on top, smoothing out wrinkles and bubbles with your fingers. Add another light coat of decoupage over the front of the gift bag piece.
While it’s still wet, sprinkle glitter over the image for a soft snowy sparkle. Repeat steps for the other three images and let everything dry.
Paint two frames crimson red and the other two green (or any combo you like). Let the paint dry completely, then lightly brush on dark wax to settle into the beads and edges for an aged, vintage look.
Once dry, place each glittered backing back into its frame so all four frames now feature your Christmas images.
Arrange the four frames standing upright in a square so the images face outward. Use hot glue along the sides to attach the frames to one another, forming an open box.
Place the frame box on a piece of cardboard and trace around the outside.
Cut out the cardboard shape and hot glue it to the bottom of the box to create a sturdy base.
Cut floral foam to fit snugly inside the box and push it down to the bottom.
Cut floral foam to fit snugly inside the box and push it down to the bottom. Insert Dollar Tree poinsettias, greenery, and pinecones into the foam until the arrangement feels full and balanced. This is the finished product.
