Christmas Snowflakes Wood Round

Wood round
I started off with a Dollar Tree wood round.
Snowflake mold
Next, I took my large snowflake mold.
Snowflake mold
I made four of them.
Small snowflake mold
I then took my small snowflake mold

I had to make lot of these small snowflakes for this project.
Ornament mold
Then the next mold I needed for my project was ornaments and garland with berries.
Casting Resin
I had to use resin for the letter mold.
Letter mold
I tried to use the clay, but the letters kept breaking because the letters were so delegate.

I laid out all the molds on the wood round.
Wood glue and E6000 glue.
After I knew where I wanted to place all the molds, I used wood glue to glue down. But I used E6000 to glue the resin letters.

I let the mold dry completely for 24 hours.
Folk Art Chalk Parisian Gray
Once my project was completely dried, I painted the entire project with Folk Art Chalk Parisian Gray.

Next, I wanted to bring out the garland and ornaments by painting them with green and red paint.

To give this project an old vintage look, I lightly added burnt sienna paint to give it an aged look. Then once that dried, I lightly added  metallic silver.

Finally, I added some Mod Podge to the entire project and then added some glitter. Then a red ribbon for hanging.

This was unexpected. It was like having two projects in one. This is what the project look like in the daytime. Mostly a gray tone.
