Christmas Coasters

Three coasters with the saying Life is short for bad coffee.
I got these three coasters at the Dollar Tree.
Back of a coaster, cork backing.
It has a nice cork backing.
White painted coaster.
I painted the coasters white because I didn’t want the wording to show through the napkin.
Bag of napkins with poinsettias design on the napkins.
On hand I had these napkins from last Christmas.
The back of a Christmas napkin.
The napkin has 2-ply, so I pulled the backing to have only 1-ply.
A poinsettia napkin.
Next, I applied decoupage to the coasters and placed the napkin on top of the coaster.
A napkin with poinsettia on it.
Then I applied decoupage on the top of the napkin.
Sanding away excess tissue.
I took my micro sander to sand away the excess tissues.
Three decorative coasters with red poinsettia designs placed on a wooden table in front of a Christmas centerpiece made of pine branches, pinecones, red berries, and lit candles.
This is the finished project.
A cozy holiday table setting with three poinsettia-patterned coasters lined up in front of a candle and evergreen arrangement, softly illuminated by warm candlelight.
A light green mug with a spoon resting inside, sitting on a festive poinsettia coaster; the table is decorated with evergreen branches, pinecones, and red berries in the background.
