The Sad Halloween Pumpkin and the Happy Ghost Project Leave a Comment / Fall / By Tracy I had this scrap wood from a previous project I stained the wood in Golden Oak stain. I printed out this pumpkin and ghost with sayings. I added carbon paper under the print images and traced it to the wood. These are all the colors I needed for this project. The images got two coats of each paint color. I decided to paint over the wording with white paint. Then copied the wording over the dry paint. I took some black paint trace over the words. I flipped over the project to add this sawtooth hook. I believe I got these letterings from Amazon, but they are from a previous project from last year I wanted to spell out Halloween and 31. The word Halloween was painted harvest orange and 31 black. I hot glued the word Halloween to the bottom of project. I was going to add six ribbons but decided to use just two. On the ribbon I added a sunflower, pumpkin, acorn and some leaves. In the middle of the project, I added the 31st. But I also decided to paint a black border because the project seems to need something more. This is the finished product.
