When decorating a small space there are some things you can do to make your space look larger.
Sitting
1) Add sitting area in the empty space. Example add an chair or love seat to fill the nook or bare space.
Add Two Small Tables
2) Add a small area rug to a space. Try adding two small coffee tables. This will make your room look and feel larger.
Bookcase
3) If you have book case, stop, and think before adding items on top of items. A declutter shelf would look less overwhelmed. So, remember less is best.
Light Colors
4) I know you heard this one before. Use bright colors to paint your room. Colors such as cool white, grays or blues.
Double Duty
5) Use items that can do double duty. An ottoman can also be your coffee table or a dresser as your nightstand.
Think Dark
6) Early I stated bright colors make a room look larger. But moody colors can also give depth to a space. Colors such as cool black, navy or hunter green.
