DIY Puzzle Piece Pumpkin Craft | Easy Thrift Store Fall Decor Leave a Comment / Fall / By Tracy I found this canvas at the thrift store for just $1. I decided to paint the canvas with Waverly Snow White paint. I also found this puzzle box at the thrift store for $2. I started by laying out the puzzle pieces on the table. Next, I pulled out my Apple Barrel Harvest Orange paint. I painted the back of each puzzle piece with the Harvest Orange paint. To create the pumpkin shape, I started placing the puzzle pieces in a circle, leaving the middle open. Then, I filled in the middle and layered a few puzzle pieces to give the pumpkin more dimension. To make the pumpkin stem, I used a popsicle stick. Not shown here, I cut it to size and painted it with Nutmeg paint. Using some letters I already had on hand, I decided to spell out the word “Harvest.” These are the paint colors I used for the letters. Here are the letters after they were painted. Next, I pulled out these Dollar Tree stickers to add to the canvas. And here is the finished puzzle piece pumpkin canvas!
