I found this canvas at Goodwill for just $1 and thought it would be perfect for a fun Easter craft project.
First, I cleaned the canvas using soap and water to remove any dust or residue.
These are the paint colors I used for this project.
This canvas was painted white, and it required two coats to fully cover the surface.
Next, I went online, printed a small bunny image
…and carefully cut it out to use as a template.
Using the template, I traced three bunnies onto the canvas.
After tracing the bunnies, I began painting each one.
Each bunny was painted a different color to give the piece a playful and cheerful look.
I I found these felt letters at Dollar Tree
I decided to paint the letters as well. I wasn’t sure how painting over felt would turn out, but I really loved the final result.
Of course, I had to add a messy bow, so I gathered several ribbons and cut them to size.
Next, I hot glued the messy bow onto the canvas and added a decorative button.
Then I hot glued the painted letter onto the canvas.
Finally, I added cotton balls to the three bunnies to create soft little bunny tails.
This is the finished product.
